How to bypass your conscious mind and program yourself for success!
by Emmanuel SEGUI
Emile Coué, the French psychotherapist once said: "When the imagination and will power are in conflict, it is always the imagination which wins, without exception." Therefore you can program yourself for success by understanding the power of imagination!
Imagination builds cities. Imagination makes dreams come true. Imagination will drive a lot of people to success, and you can take part in that success!
When you dream, the right hemisphere of the brain and your subconscious mind are working and usually, you feel peace, you see compelling pictures and you hear beautiful sounds. Success is within your reach. But the problem is that the left hemisphere of the brain is also working and usually tells you "you can't do that" or "it's not for you" "You don't deserve it" "what if I tell my friends and family?" "You are crazy".
The truth is that you are unique and your contribution is important. You can make a difference and have success. High achievers are people just like you, and they are only what you will become in a few years, aren't they?
There are some "tricks" I would say or some proven methods and techniques to program yourself for success. The only necessary step to do that is to bypass your conscious mind. When done, your subconscious mind takes it over. You can freely dream, and visualize yourself win the game of life. You turbo-charge your mind and you program yourself for success. This is how successful people do it, and that's what you will do from now on!
The three components of the programming of your mind are relaxation, visualization and affirmation.
1. Relaxation: the first key to mental programming for success. As we start to relax our brain wave cycles start to slow down and our brain would enter what is called the “alpha” state, in which the conscious mind has effectively fallen asleep, and our subconscious mind remains in control of our autonomic nervous system. During relaxation, the mind relaxes, the body unwinds. It is here where our thoughts slow down until they become so light they begin to float. It is here that we are able to restore, re-energize and empower ourselves and harness the power of the subconscious mind to help create long-lasting change. Alpha state is the gateway, the entry point that leads into the subconscious
2. Visualization: the second key to mental programming for success.
Through relaxation you enter a state of creativity, essential for your success. You can induce new thoughts and new beliefs to your subconscious. In relaxation you hold the image of what you really want and act as if you already possess it. Remember, imagination rules your life, frightens you, excites you or undermines you. Pictures put you into either a state of fear or joy. Clear pictures, and rich details, of what you really want is one of the critical factors for your success.
3. Affirmations: the third key to mental programming for success.
You can induce new thoughts and new beliefs to your subconscious by affirmations, or suggestions. One of the power principles of the subconscious mind is the compliance principle, meaning that part of the mind complies with where you want it to go. In the book, “The One Minute Millionaire: by Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hanson, one of the affirmations they encourage us to say is "I walk like a millionaire, I act like a millionaire, I'm a millionaire". When you add feelings, it doubles or even triples the result. Really believe what you're inducing.
You can program yourself for success. It is all about using the same tools and techniques that high achievers use. Relax, visualize and affirm what you really want out of life. You can
win and you deserve to win. It is reserved only for those who really want to go for it. Are you ready to take your personal and professional life to a whole new level?

4 KEYS to Developing Your Courage
Author: Dr. Janette Marie Freeman
Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the strength to act despite the fear! Here are steps we can take to develop courage and let go of the fears that stop us from achieving our goals:
1. Recognize the fear. Don’t make excuses and call it something else. You cannot overcome or move through your fear if you don’t recognize it as such. You can blame someone else, you can call it impossible or you can just admit that you are afraid. Once you admit that fear is operating, you can begin to change it.
2. Gain understanding from the fear. What am I basing this fear on? Choose to see a deeper truth. We experience fear when we believe the lies that our ego is telling us. We believe what we have accepted as truth either consciously or unconsciously. What do you believe is true? Where is it holding you back?
There is a story about a family that would get together for holidays and special occasions and fix a roast of beef. Each time they would make it they would prepare it the same way. They would take the roast and cut off on both ends and place it in the pan. This was a tradition that was handed down from mother to daughter, etc., until finally one day, one of the
daughter’s husbands asked her, “Why do you cut off both ends of the roast?” She replied that her mother had always done it that way, “Let’s go ask her.” And so they went and asked her mother, and she replied that it was because that’s the way her mother had always done it. They decided to ask grandma. When they asked her, she replied, “We only did it that way because the pan was too small to hold it.”
See the untruth in the fear that you have held. What rules have you set for yourself? Do you want to keep living by them? You are the chooser. Remember this mantra in all things in life: “I decide.”
3. Commit to Courage. Declare the deeper truth. Persistently reprogram yourself for success and courageous actions. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
4. Face the fear. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Honor your courage. Take action.
• Honor yourself every time you face a fear. Especially the little ones.
• Courage is built one success at a time. You are successful every time you try!
• Once you have admitted it is only fear holding you back, you can move through it. Move right through the middle as the courageous warrior that you are.
• Parachutes weren't proven trustworthy by having people carry them around on their backs. The device showed its worth once someone jumped.

Ever Dreamed Of Going First Class?
by: John Terrell
I don’t necessarily mean flying first class when you travel, although that certainly contributes to having a first class life. I am talking about living in a first class environment.
Now do you need a lot of money to make your environment first class? By all means money is important, but it has nothing to do with managing and maintaining a first class environment. It is up to the individual to manage and maintain the space in which they live and work, and the people with whom they associate.
So what surrounds you? Do you have beautiful fresh flowers and plants in your garden, or is it overgrown with weeds and shrubs?
What is your house like? Is it clean, or do you have clutter everywhere? Is it simple or do you have several years’ worth of books and magazines stacked so high you can barely walk through the place?
Are the people in your life a positive or negative influence? Do you like your job? Your boss? Your house? Your spouse?
Where and how you live is a reflection of you, so why not go first class?
You only have limited time here on this planet. Don’t waste it! You can clean your house yourself and keep it clutter free, or you can hire it done. It just doesn’t cost all that much to keep a beautiful environment.
Is your job and working environment a true reflection of you and who you want to be? If not, it is up to you to change them!
In your associations with people, don’t seek advice from those who are failures and going nowhere, seek it from those who are successful and on top of their game! Be sure you are flying with the right flock.
Too many people spend their time and money on self-help books, seminars, and audio programs and then go back into their same negative environments.
They live lives where they associate with friends who disparage their dreams, who exude negativity. They go to a seminar and realize they CAN do ANYTHING they choose with their lives, and then return home to listen to nay-sayers and have their hopes dashed.
Think about the people you have surrounding you right now. Do they support you, or do they drag you down? If you move on mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually, don’t you think it would be in everyone’s best interest to go your separate ways? Once you begin to raise the standard of your living you begin to meet new people and begin new relationships. Create relationship with positive people who support you!
You can change your environment by changing your thinking. People intuitively judge you (whether they know it or not) on the clothes you wear, the company you keep, the house you live, the way you walk, the pitch and tone of you voice; everything is a factor. And when you begin to become aware of your environment and how large a part it plays on all these small details you won’t want to live any other way. My final note to you is this...
Go first class all the way, change the way you view your world, the world you live in and if something doesn’t meet the quality you daydream about, change it. You CAN have the life you choose. Now go out there and GET IT!
Until next month…

Your Attitude Is Your Choice
By: Michael A. Verdicchio
Few people believe that their attitude is their own choice. For most people, their attitude depends upon people and circumstances. If people are nice to them, then they have a good attitude. If circumstances are favorable, they are in a good mood.
On the other hand, if someone treats them unfairly, then they have a bad attitude. If the circumstances are not favorable, they are in a bad mood.
Most people fail to realize that their attitude and their mood are really their own choice. Let me give you a silly example.
Awhile back, someone sent the following to me in an e-mail.
A little old lady went to the mirror one morning and noticed that she had only three hairs on her head. As she looked into the mirror, she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today." That's exactly what she did. And, she had a great day.
The next morning, at the mirror once again, the little old lady noticed that she only had two hairs on her head. Looking herself right in the eye, she said, "Today, I think I'll part my hair down the middle." That's exactly what she did. And, she had a great day.
The next day, as the little old lady looked into the mirror, there was only one hair on her head. She looked at that one lonely hair and said, "Today I think I'll wear my hair in a pony tail." That's exactly what she did. And she had a great day.
The following morning the little old lady looked into the mirror and there wasn't a single hair on her head. Her eyes lit up, and she said, "Yeah! I don't have to fix my hair today!"
Your attitude is your choice.
Now, if you're a lady, please don't let this illustration shake you up too much, okay? I am quite aware that in our culture bald men are considered more attractive than bald women. In fact, I thought about that when I first read this story in the email. I wondered why they used the example of a woman in the story. But the more I thought about it, the more I saw how much more powerful and dramatic this example is with a woman! The whole point of the illustration is all about attitude.
We can blame circumstances for our attitude. We can blame the actions of others for our attitude. We can even blame the dog. But the truth is, we decide, we choose and we determine our attitude at any given moment. The attitude that you have right now, at this very moment, is the one you have chosen to carry around. It is determined by your thoughts.
In this silly illustration about the woman, she could have had one lousy day after another watching her each hair disappear just as easily. She could have spent her days depressed. She could have spent her time being angry. Instead, she looked for something to be positive about, even in the middle of a lousy situation. She chose to deal with her situation in a positive way, and as a result she had a great day. Even though this is a fictional story, the point is well made.
Think about it. When was the last time you had a lousy attitude and a great day? Do you think that a connection exists between attitude, thoughts and physical realities of the day you are having? Of course it does!
I like to end my blogs with, "Choose to have a great day." There will certainly be days with circumstances that we are not able to change. There may be people we deal with that act like jerks. But, regardless of what we are faced with each day, we can choose to let it affect our attitude, or we can choose not to let it affect our attitude.
Attitude is a choice. Choose to have a great day!

Top 5 Tips towards Effective Relaxation Techniques
by: John Mancini
As a general rule we all face more demanding daily lives today. The working day is getting longer, and we are required to work longer hours or even get second jobs to pay our bills. As such, we find it difficult to give ourselves time to relax and wind down. Our body and mind need this time to rejuvenate and recover from the daily grind. A failure to take time out from this hectic daily schedule can have detrimental effects on our physical and mental well-being. Even when we do get time to unwind we often find ourselves worrying about work or family matters. By employing effective but simple relaxation techniques we can lessen stress, depression and physical illness.
1- The body and mind are very closely related and this means that there are a number of exercises that can be adopted that will not only improve our physical well being but act as excellent relaxation techniques. Techniques like this have been employed in yoga and other meditative arts that have developed over a great many years in many different cultures.
2- Relaxing the body will go a long way to improving your physical condition, however, the most effective relaxation techniques should combine the relaxing of the body and the mind. You should shut out any stressful thoughts about work or home; perhaps try repeating one word or short phrase over and over and if any obtrusive thoughts do come into your mind then you should concentrate on the repetition again.
3- Only you really know the things that you find relaxing and you should try to do them as often as possible. Even if it's only for a few minutes at a time you should make time. Just because your partner finds that relaxation techniques include playing sports or watching television doesn't mean you have to do the same.
4- There are many different relaxation techniques from self hypnosis to yoga and others. Find one that interests you and suits you and learn about it. Study it carefully before you enroll in a course or begin teaching yourself. The key to good relaxation techniques is that they shouldn't be difficult.
5- Don't get stressed about relaxation techniques. If you're struggling with an exercise or technique, don't worry. If you're falling asleep every time you try self hypnosis or meditation don't be concerned. With practice you will succeed.
